The Final update of the year. There will be no plans to update this site any further and I'm reluntant to Archive it (It's more work that doesn't need to be done) and there is no reason to be closing this shrine either. So, I hope you all have had plenty of dosage of Lacus Love, and hopefully you'll all never forget our pink-haired princess.

On my first and only real day off since 2009 started, I've finish coding the pages for the contest winners. Huge congratulations to Courtney who won over all! Round one winner was Aviana and Round Two was Coutney! Unfortunately we got 0 entries for round 3. Winners have been notified since March about their prizes. Just a small update: I haven't heard back from a couple of my judges (I think they got burried in their homework) so I'm getting another batch of judges to judge so please bare with me as they will take come time to confirm & judge. I apologize for all those awaiting for the results. I am also excited to see the who the winners will be as well!

Alright guys, we're almost done, this will last til the end of the month. You guys got a week to think and take a break. Actually it's because I have reading week and won't be seen for a whole week. The next one will be much more enjoyable for all you artists out there! It's not too late to join! You may even be the round winner! As promised, if we can get more than 7 people the points will double and to add onto the fun, 1st place will recieve 2 rewards of their choice instead of 1! Of course, conditions must be met. So get those hands working!

CHALLENGE THREE - February 7 - 28 2009 (3 weeks) So we're on the last round. Everyone ready? This round is fairly simple: How many Haro can Lacus really have? It can be a collage, it can be a wallpaper, it can be a sculpture, it can also be random food made into shapes of Haro. But how many Haro can you fit in one piece? Can you fit alot and still make it look pretty? Bet you never thought of that.

  • You may ANY material to create them in any form you choose EXCEPT extracting from fanart, existing wallpapers or any stolen works. Your piece will immediately be disqualified.
  • Size must be 1280 x 1024 pixel. Resolution of 72. Photo, artworks and/or wallpapers.
  • Please place your name somewhere on the images as they will be putted up.
  • Each person may submit up to 2 pieces.
  • Haro images does not have to be restricted to just Gundam SEED & Destiny, it can also come from other series too, like Gundam 00 or Universal Century timeline.
  • If a sculpture, please submit 3 images of the front, side and back or top.
How this is going to be judge:
  • # of haros are in the piece.
  • Is it placed pleasing to the eye?
  • Meaning, theme, mood? Was there any meaning to what you've done?

I'm also working hard to find if I can find some more Gundam SEED related product. Unfortunately, since SEED is being a dying series, it has become a bit difficult so don't be suprise if there is last minute adds to the vault! Good Luck everyone! I wonder who the winner will be?






Just a little correction on the rules~ It's maximum 750 word for each fanfic. I'm looking forward to the entries! If you didn't join the first one, it's okay, the second one also have prizes to be won too~ Also, the number of entries isn't as high as I wanted it to be for the first round (it's about every entry gets 1-2 prizes/6 which isn't fair to the other future participants), so to make it fair (cause not one person should be winning 3/6 prizes), each person is only allow 1 prize and the Final Contest will be a Double-or-Doom Point giver. So an advance notice, if we get more than 7 entries on the final challenge, the points will be doubled for that round (giving everyone a good chance to get a point or just jump even further ahead for the grand prize). If less than 7, then the grand prize just doubles loosing a Third Place (And maybe a Second place depending on the number of people). I've discussed with a few judges already and we feel that this would be the best action to take to making it fair for everyone. No one likes having a winner that wins 50% of everything.

The prizes have been updated with pictures. Sorry it took so long, I've been fairly distracted these past few days. The next challenge is up!

Next Off is a creative writing contest for all those writers out there. You will have to write 2 short oneshots fanfic. It can occur anywhere in the series, or it can occur in AU (Alternate Universe) as long as you can describe the environment. Creativity is key here. I'm not interested in how great Lacus is, we already know that; what I'm looking for is something difference, emotional and will keep the readers wanting for more!

Definition: Oneshots: A Stand-alone plot with no means of a continuation. A Begining, middle and end is presented an solved usually resolving with ones issue.
  • Must be about Lacus Clyne. No Original Characters as main or supporting characters please. All other character uses must be from the series. Background characters that are hardly mentioned are okay as original characters.
  • Uses of Literary Devices are highly encouraged.
  • No more than 750 words (roughly 3 pages/6 page double space) for each fanfic
  • Font: Times New Roman and size of 12 points please. Double Space please.
  • You name (used for crediting) and email that wishes to be used must be in the document header or footer (top of bottom of the page).
  • Check your grammer and spelling! I will be getting a few of my friends in English Majors to be judging this portion of the contest. Good practise for school too! If requested, I can try to arrange your edited copy to be sent back to you, if you want to learn what your mistakes are.
  • All topics must be children-friendly. No Hentai, Yuri, Yaoi or anything inappropiate matter.
  • Your Title of the Writing is also very important. Please also include it at the top if the page, bolded.
  • If you feel one shots are not your taste, Poetry is also welcomes. The only perks is, you must do all 3 themes instead of 2, mainly because you are writing less.
To make your life a little easier, I'll e giving you 3 themes and you must choice 2 out of the 3 themes to write about:
  • Pink
  • Seasons
  • Regret

Got longer than usual manly because it's been brought to my attention that there is finals for High Schoolers this month. There may be an extension because of it but we'll see how the entries are going. This is a head start for those who are done the Avatar Contest.

Happy new Years Guys! I hope you all had an awesome time~ So my first post of the new year is - I finally got my internet back. Can you believe it? I lost internet on Christmas Eve, of all days. *facepalm* So because of that I feel really horrible for those who sent me an email and got no reply because of this. I'll be replying to all the emails tonight and tomorrow, but to be fair to those people who asked me something and is waiting for a repsonse, I will prospone the first challenge for a week. Meaning, Challenge #1 deadline is Monday, January 12, 2009. Get those mouses creating!

Finals are almost over for me. It's been a rough semester, and it's probably going to get worst. (...) I apologize for the dead-ness but it's rather hard to find time to update (and stuff to update with!) so I'm going to attempt to make this holiday a bit more exciting for those who'll be bored and stuck at home this holiday season (like me). Starting next week Monday Decemember 22nd 2008, I'll be updating the main page with small challenges. The challenge will run for three weeks, and each week they'll be three small challenges. Each challenge will have a point system. So make sure to stay tune! I know this is sorta last minute so I'm not expecting many to enter but if you know you're friends will be interested please give them a nudge! I won't tell you guys what the challenges will be so you'll all have to wait til Monday!

We are BACK and fully online! I want to shoot myself at the moment. How can a chain of unfortunate event all happen in one week. *frowns* First Layout failure, food poisoning, internet failure and now a computer virus attack. *headdesk* Well anyways it's finally up. So my question to you all:

Should I still do a Wallpaper Contest? The numbers keep decreasing every year probably because it's all about Gundam 00 right now (#$@^#^#%^ HOMG THE MEISTERS are LOVE!!). Just comment your answer in the comment box cause I'm too tired to shove a poll up.

About the Layout? It's suppose to be a dancefloor (go to youtube and look up Interactive Dance Floor, it is so fun to stare at). The Lyrics on the layout is from a song is from the new NDS games by Square-Enix and Jupiter called Subarashiki kono Sekai (It's a Wonderful World) or the American title - The World Ends with You. It's a awesome game, please buy and play it~
